I promised you a while ago that I would post this outfit. Shot it back when it was snowy in Lille, but haven't decided since then if I would post it on line or not!
I actually really love this dress, but always have the same dilemma when I plan on wearing it : how do I break the preppy-nice church girl side of it?

If you've been following my instagram account here, you may have noticed that i've been positively surprised by a new kind of prints at zara : cow prints.
It all started with the Givenchy pre-fall collection, and the Burberry FW 13, where we could see cow and giraffe prints (very similar indeed), and now, I can't stop seing it everywhere on every fashion blog! Zara, again, you are my god. And right now i'm thinking into buying those sleeve cow print shorts, well played, well played zara...

Acne x Borsalino x William Wegman

I usually don't post about men's wear on my blog, but this time I really had to.
I've been in love with brand Acne since the famous atacoma wedges, and been following their shows and new from now on. (And still actually looking for a pair of these atacoma haha)
For their SS13 Menswear collection, Acne collaborated with Italian hat manufacturer Borsalino.
Yep, that's right, these gorgeous vintage croisière look-alike hats, for men!
And you can have a guess that I'll be this summer's hot piece for both men and women. Mainly because we usually wear panama hats during the hot season,  and Acne succesfully refreshed them.
Chic, fashionabe, majestic, with a touch of lightness and bright colours. I can already see myself on the mediterranean seaside.

And in order to communicate about it, what else than luxurious braque dogs?
These dogs, with graceful allure, were shot by photographes William Wegman to promote the latest collection.

A sneak peak into the Celia Birtwell x Uniqlo collection!

Iconic figure of the artistic scene, and worldwide famous for her cleverly assembled prints from the 60's and 70's, Celia Birtwell recently collaborated with japanese brand Uniqlo for a very retro and fuzzy collection.
Available in stores since march 21st, the collection ranges iconic prints on tshirts, tunic vests, shirts, cropped pants, bags and much more..

Another snowy tuesday

OK Hold on... we're in march right? March is like supposed to be the beggining of spring, with a bit of sun and flowers that start blossoming right?
Well apparently, Lille did not hear it like that. It's been snowing for two days, and a huge wave of cold has been spread. Come on! 30 centimeters?
Obviously, that doesn't forbid me to go outside and wear what i want.

Kitsuné x Aigle

Europe's most famous season will be starting soon : the period of music festivals.
Every year,during spring and summer, around the continent, worldwide famous festivals are taking place, with very known musician, djs , thousands of people, campings, and... rain.
Yes, because, most of them are in northern Europe, and summer is not that time of the year with sunny , hot days with girls in bikinis.Nope. It's more about rain, mud and dirt.
Being myself an festival-holic, every year goes the same question : what do I bring to the festival, what do I wear, due to these terrific condtions?
Plastic boots and a rain proof coat...
And there's the deal : how to look fashionable ?

Well, recently, Kitsuné answered my question, by collaborating with Aigle, famous french brand of outdoor clothing and rubber craftsmanship experts.
Named the Festival Outdoor kit, is is basically a panoply comprising a Gore-Tex unisex poncho and a pair of boots, all flocked with the Kitsuné colours.

Sparkles of Fall

Sporty sweater, leather skirts, high heels and a minimaly rock clutch. It's all about the mix of textures.

Jeudi Inspi : Surface To Air AW 13

I know, you'll say, there's a bit of a Barbara Bui look-alike, but I couldn't resist sharing with you these amazing shots of the autumn winter 13 Surface to Air collection.

Minimal, boyish , chic and high fashion, that's what I say.
A bit of an intergalactic touch, and a clever mixture of patterns, raw cuts and strong textures; all along with prints, reversed details, palying with sharp shades of grey blue and black. Surface to Air understood it all about next winter's tendency.
A +1 for the holigraphic cap, and the bomber.

Vilnuis - Mes bonnes adresses

Cette semaine j'ai passé mes vacances à Vilnius, en Lituanie  et je peux vous assurer que j'ai été très surprise par la ville!
Capitale de la Lituanie  c'est aussi la plus grande ville et la plus développée, mais , à mon grand désarroi, sans trop de boutiques. Il n’empêche qu'une fois sur place, on s'en passe facilement.
C'est une superbe ville, avec plein de petites rues colorées, plein d'églises , de cafés, d'auberges et de bars, qui regorge d'une ambiance unique. Contrairement à certains pays de l'Europe de l'est que j'ai pu visiter, les lituaniens sont très accueillants et respectueux.

Si un jour vous allez à Vilnius, afin de vous en faire profiter un max, voici quelque bonnes adresses..



Soul Box : situé sur Vilniaus g. ,pour dîner et boire un verre, le Soul Box est un restaurant bar qui abrite une mini salle de concert, et quelques musiciens jouent parfois de bons morceaux soul et jazz en live.
En bref , tout est succulent là bas. J'y suis retourné pas mal de fois durant mon séjour, je n'ai pas pu goûter à tout mais je l'aurais fait volontiers! (Petit plus pour la "caprese salad" ) ce n'est pas vraiment cher, comptez environ 30 Lts pour un repars et une boisson alcoolisée, ce qui fait environ 10€.  Attention , c'est rempli a partir de 20h.




Studio 9 : situé sur Gedimino g. , pour boire un verre et diner. Superbe endroit, avec une ambiance indescriptible et une déco retro cool. Mi restaurant, mi bar mi dancefloor/salle de concert, le Studio 9 est très  intime et tamisé, avec une moyenne d'age de 30 ans. Gros gros coup de coeur pour le burger, compter a peu près 40 Lts pour un repas avec boisson.




Opium : située dans le coeur de la ville, Opium est the place to be. Fervente boite de nuit qui abrite djs locaux, dans une ambiance techno minimale. Remplie de hipsters cool le vendredi et samedi soir, le reste de la semaine, c'est fermé. Si tu es fan de musique éléctro, je te la conseille vivement! Entrée payante, compter 16 Lts un cocktail basique.




Sky Bar : situé au 22 ème étage du Radisson, pour manger et boire un verre. Bon je vous avoue que 22ème étage ce n'est pas haut, mais c'est le seul endroit ou l'on peut avoir un aperçu de l'étendue de la ville en sirotant un martini. Abrite quelques concerts parfois, mais généralement rempli de business man. Les plats ne sortent pas de l'ordinaire, mais la carte des cocktails est immense. Compter 20Lts un verre.



Café de Paris : dans le centre de Vilnius, le seul endroit qui se rapproche réellement d'une brasserie parisienne. Carte en français, plats français, staff français, si tu as le mal du pays, c'est là qu'il faut aller! En tant que bonne Lilloise, j'y ai même trouvé ma Leffe! Système de plat du jour très bon, avec une déco rétro "à la française" . C'est aussi un peu le QG de tous les français de Vilnius . Compter 20 Lts pour un repas.




Les friperies : à ma grande surprise, Vilnius regorge de friperies en tout genre. Vêtements de marque, ou sweats et perfectos des années 80, je suis certaine qu'en arpentant les rues au niveau de Vilniaus g. on peut trouver son bonheur! Humana pour les fripes qui puent à moins de 10 Lts, ou bien Dezavu pour des choses plus haut de gamme.


 Sur ce, je vous quitte avec une des rares photos de moi, parce que j'avais les mains surgelées! Sympa la tenue toute terrain!
